  Though, the coin itself is a thing of beauty, I'm with those that never heard of 'elevation chromatics'. lol
  
  Almost sounds like something bad for a coin! lol But, obviously, if the coin you posted has it, it's a good thing.

  My understanding of elevation chromatics is that the toning sort of resembles a topographic map. Blue might fill the valley floor, green the slopes, and the higher-relief ridges might be golden brown. Morgans do this with some frequency and supposedly it's hard to reproduce via AT techniques.

  I won it at the last Heritage auction. It sort of surprised me. I put in a bid that I did not think was all that strong and got it at that amount. The price was pretty much in-line with other recent sales for the issue/grade and quite a bit below the Price Guide. It was a small gamble, as I didn't see it in-hand. Fortunately this time it worked out. It is insanely lustrous in-hand.
