I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector. Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.
Now that there is a seeming consensus that this is NT, what about a technical grade, eye appeal, and valuation for this piece?
What is the technical grade? Would it slab? What your subjective eye appeal (negative, positive, and why). And finally how would one place a value on this piece?
Thanks in advance for your responses in this discussion!
<< <i>NT, but I don't think it would slab problem free due to the scratch behind lady liberty. It is an old scratch, but for a small coin will stand out. >>
How would you "value" or price the coin, given this?
