philippine type set album
I've decided to post this on both U>S> and world forums. Is there such a thing as a Philippine type set album by one of the major coin holder companies?

(Many of the coins were minted in the US, so I guess it can be on this forum)
W.C. Fields
The thing is, they are not type set albums but complete sets, and put out by volume. They contain holes for every year the coins were issued, including the variations. There is a hole for those from every mintmark, even 2 holes for the 1905 20 centavo coin (the recut and non recut version).
Volume 1 covers the Spanish-Philippines coins, volume 2 covers the US-Philippines series from the 1 centavo to 10 centavo series and volume 3 covers the 20 centavos to 1 peso and the QMR commonwealth commemoratives (vol 4-6 covers the republic series from 1947 straight throughout to the commemoratives in volume 6). They cost about $25 dollars each.
Also, I'm in the Philippines and its extremely expensive to send them by mail. Would anyone be interested?
1907quarter, your same topic came up on the Darkside the other night, in this thread.
Apparently Whitman put out such a type album at one time, but they're discontinued. I'm guessing this would have been in the 1960's, as that seems to have been the Golden Age of Darkside coin albums, at least by Whitman.
Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
He had Whitman Canadian Small Cent albums when nobody else did.
An SASE will get you a list of what they carry.

Yes Whitman Publishing Company, Racine Wisconsin, copyright 1964. It covers Philippine Type Set Collection Spanish 1864-1897, United States 1903-1945, and Republic Issues 1947-. I have one (1).
+1
I have this too, still trying to get the thing filled.
I have three 7070s filled, one with gold and can't finish my doggone Philippines type set.
What a fantastic thing! Wish those kind of albums were still around. That would be some fun junkbox time.
13 year old thread shot right to the top! LOL.
Who knows if the OP is still kickin'. LOL
Latin American Collection
The Whitman album appears on ebay every once in a while. I have not seen any of the Philippine Numismatic and Antiquarian Society albums emerge for quite a while. I got these two albums from smoeone in the Philippines 10-12 years ago. These albums are rarely seen.
