Had a great experience with forum member Panther yesterday

I was set up at a small local show in Van Nuys yesterday, and had the chance to meet Panther (Dale) in person. He sat down, and within a couple of minutes, had cherrypicked a couple of 1941 P Washington DDRs (eagle's beak) in 63 and 64. Not only did he tell me about them (stupid me!), but made a full value offer on the 64, which I gladly accepted, and left the other for me! We then chatted for quite some time, and it turns out we both were attending West Covina High in 1969/1970, he as a Freshman, me as a Senior, and his older sister was a classmate! Small world! I also saw Illini420, bigjpst, and Jay. It was a very busy show, and the wife and I had our hands full till after 4 when they had to kick us out. Good Times!

It was great to talk about old times and find out that we attended the same high school.
It is Small world indeed.
