What am I missing??? Bust Dime folks help me out here! (Price Realized related)

I saw this coin end last night. I was tracking this piece as well as another Bust Dime in MS-64. Within the last hour or so the price jumped to more than $7,000...and I have no idea why!?!?!
I don't think it is a new die marriage...at least nothing looked out of place...but maybe my die marriage eyes are getting the better of me.
For >$7,000 you could get a MS-65/66 of the same date (as per Heritage prices realized). So why did this blast-white MS-63 get the same bid?
I'm just completely baffled and dumbfounded as this...one of the weirdest coin prices I've seen in a while.

Maybe he was just drinking too much last night.
The seller, US Coins, is one of the sharpest coin upgraders out there. Not very likely they'd leave anything on the table with this coin.
At least now they can say the coin is "worth" $7,000.
Seems just another example of bidiots at work. Nothing new here.

1 bid retraction w/o another bid being entered for whatever it is worth (wasn't high enough to see the top bidders max amount)
winning bidder is extremely active on ebay (1149 items bid on in only 30 days) (5% with this seller)
nothing conclusive, just observations
as to the op inquiry, i have not a clue (without research)

1) winning bidder is using eBay as an approval service, and it's coming back
2) winning bidder lives in Houston and viewed it in person, so they know something we don't
3) winning bidder will not pay for it after having severe buyer's remorse
4) winning bidder has essentially infinite funds available and is just destroying competitors on items he wants. For example, the kind of person who buys a $7,000 clothing item without thinking twice, then earns the money back during the 5 minutes his butler is standing in line to pay for the item.
There are types of people on ebay whose passion is "uncovering" the high bids of other bidders. To them it's a game. And most of the time they end up not following through on
the purchase of the item. Since the seller offers a return privilege, the high bidder's only downside is return postage/shipping.
