Recommendations For Silver Eagle Albums

I have customers putting together sets of BU Silver Eagles by date. Obviously, the coins tone very easily. Are there any albums which inhibit toning that more than others? I have never used Intercept Shield albums and was wondering if they might be the way to go. Personally, I prefer Dansco albums for type, etc. but not sure what to recommend for Eagles.

I prefer the Dansco for the Eagles, too. The U.S. Mint albums in that "greyish blue" color seems to rim tone the ASEs faster than the Dansco album, from what I've seen in the couple years I've had both sets. It's true .999 Silver coins tone faster than the 90% silver ever did. I wonder if copper inhibits toning. image ...food for thought ...

My dad has had some ASE's in the Intercept album for a while, I wanna say 15 years, and minimal toning IMO. Of course the best ASEs I've ever seen are the ones left in the original Mint capsules/boxes.

I prefer leaving them in the original capsules, and dry environment. (safe with humidity protection). Cheers, RickO
