  I would hold out for a lower grade example that was not holed and plugged. But, I would only do that after I buy a dozen other coins on my wish list.

  No, I can think of literally thousands of coins I would spend that much money on instead of that one.

  While I would love to own a 1792 half disme, I would spend that money elsewhere.

  I don't mind it but I am not the kind of collector who swims in those waters so it doesn't really matter what I think. While I could consolidate and buy a couple of coins at that level I think I rather have a collection then a problem coin. While there might be a coin that could temp me to do just that, a holed half Disme isn't it

  Me? No, but then I don't really have any interest in that particular coin type to begin with. I have no doubt there is someone out there who does, though.
