I like the toned ASE's but I want a close up of the toned Morgan in that big white slab.

I was at the show on Saturday and I wasn't all that impressed.

It was slow....but since I don't travel (at the moment) to the bigger, out of state shows, this was my FUN show! lol.

But the slowness did allow me to pick up a few pieces at better prices, I think? At least that's what some of the dealers were intimating. Could have just been sales pitches to me. lol.

Soooo much talk about how they wish they were gun and ammo dealers....one guy said he would trade his semi-keys (golds) for semi-automatics all day long now! haha.

Is it because of the dullish hue of the colors? I've some ASE's with weird toning patterns, but with very vibrant colors, that
I know are NT - they were white when I threw them in the cigar box with other 'junk silver' 20 years ago. The coloring is so
outrageous that if I didn't know better, I would think they may have been AT'd.

....IMO based upon all of the wildly toned slabbed ASEs--those look just fine! Seriously, I bet they'd all slab problem free no prob.

....at least 3 out of 4 of 'em. image

    Absolutely.

Over the years it seems like the majority of the coins the OP has shared with us here are obviously AT or doctored to the point that even untrained eyes could tell something isn't right. It would be of great benefit to him if he learns how to tell the difference between original, authentic toning from those that are blatantly off. At this time I do not believe he has any ability to do that in any viable sense.

The ASEs are not very convincing to me. The slabbed Morgans look downright nice though.

In regards to the toned ASE's in my opinion if you look at the four in the last two pic's, the top left is the only one
that I hesitate to say is natural. Again, I have not seen the other sides of them but to me the other three look
pretty standard as far as ASE toning goes. The two on the right(reverse) is your regular toned eagle, the bottom right obverse
    is also pretty standard looking.
