Nice - both Doily $10's went too cheap. Already had a $10 so decided not to bid.
What's TRC again??
"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko, Big Moose, Cardinal.
Walker Proof Digital Album Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
<< <i>I went bonkers on the OGH gold stickered walkers as they were reasonably priced in mist cases.
Also the proof mercury dimes.
I really liked the gold stickered OGH gold coins too but frankly I could NOT be in both places money-wise at one time except...........
I did buy one $5 Indian 1909-D AU-55 that I thought was simply awesome. >>
Oreville, I am sorry I missed you at the show.
There were several other SPQR gold coins that I really liked and bid on that I did not end up buying.
I loved the 1850 $20. It was unusually prooflike, but it was a bit chattery for some. The 1855-S $20 may have been the nicest of the $20 Libs but really expensive ($4700), IMO. The 1885-CC $20 was also really nice but a better date and well over $10k. The 1901-S $5 in 3 looked like a solid gem to me. An Indian QE in 58 has lovely original color. I do not normally go for these coins, but I liked that one a lot! I was outbid on the 1852 $5 in 50. I originally bought the coin for $650 and then sold it for $800, IIRC. I liked it a lot but not enough to pay $1100 to get it back!
Indeed, sorry I missed you too but a real good indicator of how good this FUN show was that we were so busy buying and trading and selling with the dealers and the auction that we forgot to meet up.

<< <i>Congrats! I almost went after that 64-S. Good work! >>
I had to have that one. I have its sibling from the same submission (like the 84-CC $20), and I also have a sib of the 1853 $5.
<< <i>Nice haul! >>
Unfortunatley, I did not get all of the ones I wanted.
Hope you get them PDQ.
What's TRC again??
here's mine newp:
Tons of mint luster on that 84-CC.
Nice haul
<< <i>nice! my fav is your 53 HE.
here's mine newp:
I was an underbidder for that one (and quite a few others).
Nice coin!

I graded the $10 a 63.

<< <i>Nice haul! >>
I got smoked on the "had to have" coin.
But i have to admit whenever i see ogh and gold stickers i realize just how bad grade inflation is. Grading used to be
a lot more conservative.

Is there ink run on the label of the 84cc or is it the image?
(Not really..... Nice coins, RYK. Really like the 01-s and 64-s.)
