I'm thinking it could have gotten it, on a really good day, but I wouldn't have submitted it thinking I was going to get FBL on it. I would vote "maybe close, but....no"

I'm going with no FBL based on the photo. Coin in hand might reveal more detail to the left of the crack but it looks pretty weak to me. If it was my $$, I'd want stronger detail regardless of what the holder says.

Hmmmm....I think he went a little further than me.

First of all, I haven't even mentioned who graded it.

Secondly, all posters who start a post questioning a grade of their coin and their submission results should be banned?

This place would only have about 5 viewers left.

I personally would not give it a FBL, but I've seen plenty that are graded FBL (by both major TPG's) that have those sort of issues. As Stefanie mentioned, it will depend to a certain extent on the date/mm, e.g. if there is a major premium for that date/mm for FBL then it will not grade FBL.

No it's not.

But I understand your comment because I have always said that this type of holder (that period of time) seemed to produce a great many overgraded coins.

A few posters here have flamed me for saying this but this is what I see.

Whether its a FBL or not partially depends on how many times you submit it. It's only the highest grading event that ultimately counts.

I'd vote no on FBL. No Franklin expert here, but don't the standards get slightly tighter as the price and grade goes up?
If this were a 1962 or 1963 for instance, I'd say no way.
