Modern submission criteria changes?

Originally, IIRC, Modern was 1965 to date.

At some point, it was changed to 1956-date, a welcome change!

Currently it is back to 1965-date.

Anyone know when it reverted?

    This is news to me!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

    As of today.
And just for info for years it was 1964 to date.
About two years ago it went 1955 to date.
And now it is 1965 to date according to the email announcing the raised prices and new services.

The age demographics of forumites (and, likely, coin collectors as a whole) are such that a large fraction of us actively slab a disproportionate (in terms of value) number of 1955-1964 coins.

The populations likely reflect the same.

Birth year sets are very popular and those are big baby boomer years. So could be it just boils down to increased grading revenue....
