Newp Morgan "Old Glory"

AuroraBorealisAuroraBorealis Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭✭✭
Just in yesterday and was a sweet package to open... Love coins like this that speak for themselves... This coin has had some history from what I understand... Ex Defalco, Page, Bingham, Cowle... Hope I have spelled everyone correct and very glad to have my name(AB) added to that list...

That is a lovely looking Morgan in general, and particularly for a 1904-O. image

bestclser you forgot to mention that you came up with the cool name... image More thanks SkyMan... I agree that the 04-O is a difficult date for a PQ toner... If fact this one is the best that I have ever come across... metalmeister thanks and after close exploration I agree that it`s a solid 67... There is in fact some very cool die cracks on both sides... lkeigwin and 2ltdjorn thank you as well...
Realone here you go a raw shot right out my camera... I`m curious why do you ask for the reverse slab shot?

I have come to view nicely toned coins as works of art. This one is no exception.

Work of art! image Liberty's head nicely framed, a little bit got on her nose lips and chin but otherwise well done piece, is it purported to be endroll?

Someday we will most definitely see... I believe it to be a solid 7 comparing to other PC 7`s that I own... Really it`s the amazing toning, strike, luster and the date/mm that really does it for me regardless of the number... Not that it`s a rare date but it is a tough date/mm to find so toner nice...

Thank you again morgansforever! You must have missed these two that I have done awhile back of my 100% obverse toned ones... But now you have me thinking of doing one of my EOR`s... Thanks for the idea!
