I'd be very happy to take any that you don't want for $10 each!
Recall the question
Is it liquid flammable or hazardous they always ask you that no one hears
"Seu cabra da peste,
"Sou Mangueira......."
<< <i>EAC people also use a product called 'Care' (don't know if it's actually spelled that way, one of them can chime in) to protect their brown copper. A number of well-known dealers, like Tom Reynolds, uses this product on his raw copper coins. I have been told by a number of different sources that if you want to get these raw coppers slabbed, the TPGs don't have an issue with this. >>
So long as the coins don't go through SP and/or are washed extremely well prior to SP submission since I recall from one of the videos that Blue Ribbon was cited in the group of unaccepted substances. Also it seems there have been threads regarding EAC coins and certain TPG having problems with the surfaces since so many coppers have been "tampered" with aka "protected" & "preserved."

That's what I thought too!
That would be a good buy at $10 ea, even though it looks to be the late generation Blue Ribbon, in a clear
bottle, light colored liquid. The early stuff in the brown bottles is even better, but of course even harder to find.
I think coinduece had a small group of these a few years back, and I snagged one of those.
The original Care that you hear about from EAC guys disappeared many years ago. I know when I was discussing it with a
B&M guy over 12 years ago he indicated it had been off the market for a long time and was tough to find.
The modern Coin Care is garbage, more like machine oil.

Just a slight over-reaction IMHO. The effects of CFC compounds from banned refrigerant gas such as R-12 (Freon) were and are vastly more environmentally detrimental than the tiny amount of CFC in a 2 oz. bottle of CARE or Blue Ribbon. The primary ingredient of Care and Blue Ribbon is 1,1 TCE (trichloroethane), otherwise known as ether, which is the only reason it is on the U.S.P.S. list of hazardous substances (ORMD). It can be shipped within protocol of the Domestic Mailing Manual as a Ground Service only parcel, with minimal restrictions.

The Blue Ribbon formula in the bottle posted by the OP is the formula containing 1,1 TCE. Harco basically quit marketing it when manufacture of CFC's for products like this was banned.

If it is, then why would it be deemed acceptable to submit for grading?
