I am in, Wednesday through Thursday.

Edit: It's now December, no longer "absurdly premature".
Edit again: Only one major show between now and FUN.
Edit one last time: I am back in with an abbreviated schedule and am looking to buy, sell, assist, grade, lot view, meet, greet, run, and drink beer. Who's with me? image

    I'd love to get to FUN someday but that's just not a time when I can take off work.

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    I went last January...Wow. Almost too much to take in, by far the largest show I have ever been to....largest was been 150 table shows here in Fargo.

    So I might skip this one out.

    I think this is the year I miss the NY Int'l and go to FUN. Even though the Cardinal auction would be a wicked cool event to attend.....may have to do that one vicariously on the computer......

    I won't miss it. I'll be there for the duration.
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    Yeah...it's the same week as the surf show this time so the hotels are greedy. We nailed a nice condo 10 mins walking away this time. The hotel we stayed at last time wanted more than 50% more than we paid last year.
