Have you ever sold something and happy the deal fell through?

I have been selling certain coins off so I can buy ones that I plan on keeping in my final collection.
This particular coin was in a bulk purchase that a dealer was supposed to buy but the deal fell through on his end.
I have to admit that I really didn't want to include this one in the deal so even though the deal fell through I was happy to get this back
It probably will be eventually sold for a higher grade but I still love it raw

I have sold coins and then tried to buy them back, they said nope.
I'm still sad.

I was not on Ebay I was dealing with a dealer direct. We were doing a deal to purchase a large amount of different coins I have,
the deal fell through as he couldn't come up with the total amount of money to go through with the purchase.
Hence I have the only real coin I wanted to keep.....I would not have minded to sell the rest

Yup. Been there. Done that.

Me too, that's why I was happy it came back.
And since the rest was ASE albums and other silver
It was his loss a the price of silver has gone up so now
my album of toned ASE's are worth more
So, everything happens for a reason
