Pete Rose and all these crazy autograph balls?

I'm as big a Pete Rose fan as there is, I used to be anyways but all this crazy autograph stuff on ebay is a bit bizarre, entertaining and amusing. Does anyone really want an autograph ball that says "I shot J F K"? That's just for starters

It's very sad... I guess he's written off any chance of being elected into the Hall of Fame.

"I shot JFK" does nothing for me, however, "I Shot JR" would bring a chuckle......(1980's TV Show "Dallas" reference for the youngsters)

He signed a bat with the phrase "I'm sorry I broke up the Beatles". To me, that's hilarious, and a big middle finger to the "I'm sorry I bet on baseball" admission.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed these weird inscriptions on baseballs he's been signing.
A few weeks ago a dealer had several balls Rose signed for sale his booth. They were pretty expensive too & included bizarre inscriptions
Don't know why somebody wouldnt just want "hit King" ect.

I guess once you've sold enough autographs to flood the market, you have to get creative to spur demand.

Actually his autograph with inscription on a ball (5 words or less) is pretty reasonalbe for the all time hit king. Signed ball is $80 and inscription is $25.

I want a rookie card that says:

"Bill, I'm sorry I trimmed THE Wagner, Pete Rose"

I tried to get him to do the "I'm sorry I bet on baseball" on a rookie card and he wouldn't do it. Said baseballs only. That was when he was signing with Field of Dreams in Vegas. Might have to try again if he's no longer under that contract.
