***NEWP***

I tried to capture its super luster and golden-amber-plum-violet colors but I didn't quite get it. Hopefully you get the idea from my pics. It's a really good looking example IMO with no ugly distractions as these often seem to possesss. Exceedingly reflective overall with the toning in an even 'wood grain' effect. I picked it up from Hannigan's (nice people) and they commented that they found it to be especially attractive for a Feuch and PQ for the grade. Now that I own it I can't help but agree.
Thanks for lookin'! :

It makes me think there's opportunity in this series to buy raw, undergraded pieces and have them graded.
With the weak strikes, I'm sure there are a lot of raw pieces where the seller has underestimated the grade.
congrats
Beautiful pickup....congrat's

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

<< <i>Foikt'-vhang-er. You have a 5 obverse, if the bottom berry is to the left its reverse H if to the right reverse G . Both rated as R2 I'd say the 5H is seen a bit less than the 5G I think these are Fantastic coins and don't need ANY help from colors or toning. But as long as you like the colors.... >>
Thanks for the extra info!

I consider it a legal private coin as it was circulated as such. Private coinage was not made illegal in the US until the Coinage Act of the 1964 and it wasn't until 1957 that US Mint coins were made the legal currency of the US.

Sorry for our intentional play on words and our NY coin accents.
