Guinness book of world records

This will be an attempt to break the old world's record for longest coin forum thread in history. The current record is not available to me at this moment but we have a long way to go anyway before we need
to concern ourselves with actual details...
.... So to begin with "I am born" To say that I was born in this context is that I became a collector of U.S. coins. Mostly moderns....
to concern ourselves with actual details...

Good luck. >>
I think I'm in that thread.
The name is LEE!
or indifference by the forum members.....
FadeToBlack, 19Lyds, thanks for trying to breathe some life into this thread with your comparison references to other long running threads.....
but, alas, the patient died. Died too young.... an assasin put a bullet in 'em, shot 'em in the back, while others stood around and laughed and could only parrot
He died with his boots on though! Maybe the Guinness record for shortest threads in history.......
Next time let's talk about coins, eh people?
This could have been a good thread. Everyone could have talked about their personal areas of expertise and interest. So many threads are dedicated to just one theme or specialty.
We could have shared and learned from each other and maybe sparked an interest in a coin or series that beforehand we hadn't thought of. We could have learned grading skills
perhaps. We could have told stories about how we got started, travels to shows, grading company insider info, auctions, shared pictures of rarities, etc. Unfortunately, it just became
fodder for some to poke fun at. Someday I hope that personal agendas don't have to rear their ugly heads when trying to start a conversation. That is all. The defense rests.
By the way, this is day three of the thread...and they said it wouldn't last....
