***** Some good lookin' coins with pop! --[OGH]-- VDBs, SLQ, Lib 5C, Walker, Buff *****

I thought I'd share some good lookin 'common coins' that IMHO have above average pop and eye appeal.
Thanks much to our friend Bochiman for helping me send these into CAC for their opinions, too. He's a first class guy all the way!
I had no doubt that the Lib 5C was quite undergraded so I'm pleased that they agreed.
My pics aren't the best but they give you the general idea.
Thanks for lookin'!
Lovely toning and few marks.

I love these VDBs! The one on the left has a blazing red/lime wash while the one on the right is more classically copper red. Both spotless screamers!

A lot of vibrant violet and champagne toning on this uber common date.

You can't see it in my pics but this SLQ has a killer strike with a hammered head and shield.

The 1911 nickel was, imho, a slam dunk gold. I could easily have seen a couple more as well and would not have been surprised.
Thanks again to SS for trusting me with his babies.....it is always potentially "scary" to hand off your valuable collectibles to someone you really only know online, and maybe met a few times, and place your trust in them. He did that and, while I know how trustworthy I am, he took a leap of faith. It enabled me to see these in hand....I did have to wipe the drool off the slabs before I boxed them up...didn't want any drool stains seeping through
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
<< <i>Having seen these coins in hand, and being the one who sent them off, I was really surprised to see only 1 go gold.
