Are you a loyal U.S. Mint customer?
I buy a lot of mint products, but not all. No Platinum coins, no gold bullion ( with a few exceptions), but I do buy almost everything else! I think that I can categorize myself as a "loyal" Mint customer. How about you? And Why? or Why not?
Just curious!

However, I do use the coins they produce for circulation!
By my own definition, I'm a pretty loyal customer.

ROFL!
Good reply. I just realized that we are ALL Loyal U.S. Mint Customers. Since the U.S. Mint is the only producer of U.S. Coins that we collect.
So I think I'll turn this into a poll with a little bit more clarification.
Thanks for the post MidLifeCrisis!

Hey, I'm here for you!
Its more like I'm a compulsive US Mint Junkie. Thank God they made the Platinum so repulsive I no longer indulge in that spending excess. Gold spot has also driven me away from the AGE series - for the most part.
This Dog Show over the 2-coin San Fran Silver Eagle Set has me against the ropes with the ASE series. What are they trying to pull with this adventure in marketing? Go ahead and keep it up. See how quickly I become a cured former Mint Junkie.
shipping. Scored a few nice ones and made a bit of money off of the old Mint. But,
they saw that I made too much, so they ended the program!
Sorry guys, all my fault.

Nevertheless, there have been a few Mint issues on which I've made - or could make - a tidy sum. I've also missed out on a few I wanted at the time, but couldn't afford (it was a matter of timing). Still, I feel reasonably split between the two sides, yet feel myself leaning more each year toward other than current Mint issues.
Count me in... for now...

Not really. I have kept up with the modern commemorative coins, and I buy those from the mint because generally the quality has suited my tastes. I stopped buying Proof sets directly from the mint because I kept getting problem coins. I don't expect to get PR-70, DCAM coins from end to end, but I don't expect to get coins with spots, finger prints and noticeable "holes" in the Proof surface fields. I got more than my share of Proof coins with those problems so I stopped buying Proof sets from the mint.
I also did not do well quality-wise when I purchased a Draped Bust first spouse gold piece from them. I sold it off for bullion because it was poorly made and unattractive. You will note that Ms. Liberty appears to have "the mumps."
yes I am.Ive cut out the annual sets but continue to buy gold buffs,pf saes, and the pucks.
but it works great
as they are not loyal to me either...
I've bought a few times, the 2007 Jefferson Liberty in Unc and proof, the 2009 UHR, and a few dozen proof ASEs each of the past few years to give as gifts
Most of what the mint produced since 1965, IMO, has been, um.. not for me.
