Now I can make exact change in Massachusetts silver!!!

I just picked up the sixpence at the Stack's Baltimore auction - my one win! I'm still looking find a decent large planchet shilling in a comparable grade (and at the right price!) to complete a Pine Tree type set. I love these old silver pieces!

Congrats.
That is one cool set.

<< <i>Nice pickup. Great detail on it. It's always nice when you can see all of the design elements on MA silver! Congrats >>
Thanks, I thought so, too. The stated problem doesn't bother me - my goal has been to find pieces where all, or most all of the design is visible and legible.
Thanks again to all for your comments and pats on the back!

<< <i>Gonna go for a II pence? >>
Eeeeeyah! That would get me into the Oak Trees then! I don't think I'm ready to go there yet. I'm still working on a large planchet Pine Tree anyway. If I ever need exactly two pence, I'll just clip a third off of the three pence
