Can't be since NEN states it was "recently repurchased from a client", so you must be mistaken. Any way since you state "I'm not sure" and they state what they did in their description as being certain enough to put it in writing in their description they must be correct on this one. >>

    -Or-

SullivanNumismatics could have sold it to them originally before they sold it and repurchased it from the existing client imageimage >>

Ok, just called NEN, they originally sold this coin the subject of this thread to their client way back in 2007. So I believe Sullivan is mistaken on this one. >>

Again... Maybe SullivanNumismatics could have sold it to them originally imageimage

You are right, I am finished, just wanted to complete what i started, I asked for comps and this i gave the comps. >>

I hope you know I'm just teasing you a bit.
It is a nice specimen because of how much detail shows for each strike, and for these types of centered double struck errors it ranks WAY up there in terms of eye appeal. I probably could have come up with some comparisons for you if I looked into it, but I hesitate because I don't collect double struck coins like this, I greatly prefer them to be off center for the second strike (or both strikes).

Apparently I'm mixing that coin up with another coin I sold them recently- sorry about the confusion.
