What is the "Promote" reaction?

When you click on a person's name the first reaction is "Promote",,,,, was does that represent?
Everyone that I have checked has a "0" no reactions?

I just clicked on almost everyone showing on-line and all have a "0" for "Promote"
I "promoted" you and it's still zero.
Can you skip a grade?

I do not know...I clicked on a couple here... still shows zero.... must be an option in the software that was never activated......Cheers, RickO
It's probably for administrative purposes. Say PCGS has a new valued employee in the grading room, he/she could make an account and have 5 stars without having to do posts, emotes, and registry.
Probably the way the admins. give out the stars.
