Engelhard 10oz P Series

It seems like many Engelhard poured silver bars are sometimes worth more than spot. Saw a few P319--- bars at spot +$2/oz. I do aquire silver rounds occasionally, I kind of liked these bars. Just curious if it is strictly a bullion play or if there is some collectability for these. I looked at the all Engelhard site, plus ebay, seems like these go in the $200-$220 range, so slightly above spot. Curious if I should go get them because the price is good, or just pass as it just silver and I don't have to have it now?
Any thoughts appreciated.

The p bars are not the most collectible, but any poured Englehard bars are impressive. Will this deal last until Tuesday. Holiday weekends sometimes cause a little volitility in the market. Check them on Tuesday morning first thing. Since spot is involved in the price you may get them for it may be less or they may start rising. Either way at $2 over spot you can't get hurt too bad and checking early you can grab them before they go much higher.

Depends on your reason for buying.... when spot is low, then a close to spot buy is good even on low interest bars... So if collecting is your interest, well - wait for something special... if holding for a while, buy it and ride the wave, it will come. Cheers, RickO
Thanks for the input...I have been buying old gold at melt plus 5-6%, getting some nice type coins to satisfy my coin itch, and saw the bars there. I buy some silver once in awhile, but wasn’t looking to aquire right now. If the answer was, hey you can’t go wrong with those Engelhard bars because they will always be worth more than spot...say $200 today vs my cost which would be about 185, then I would likely get them...if they are just 10 ounce bars, then I will wait till I am looking to Specifically add silver.
Seems like a decent deal/

You should have no issues getting spot for them if selling to another stacker. If you plan to sell to a dealer when the time comes most will offer under spot for those bars. Nothing wrong with them but would certainly try to find as close to spot as possible.
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.
