As I continue to fill holes in these sets it is becoming harder and harder to find coins I need and like. This one is not a tough date...it's just a date I hadn't found yet that I liked that wasn't a DDO. This one has a nice soft obverse tone and the reverse is just beautiful to me. Thanks for looking and comments are always welcomed.

Your set is coming along nicely!

Oh yeah... that's a real nice coin!
That reverse looks like the obverse of my 1937-S MS 66 Walker.
Possibly an 'end of roll toner'.
Frosty obverse.
I like it a lot. Congrats!!

You found a nice one. Nice grab.
...filling up with this pretty one is an example...I can imagine how beautiful your book must look
Nice coin! There's a multitude of doubled die reverses for this date-most dealing with varying doubling on the eagle's beak.
Gerry Fortin recently put a bunch of Washington quarters on sale. Chances are that you will find something there that fits your set.
I wish this was the DDR that is included in the Complete Variety Set. I have been able to find all 3 DDO's for the date, but still need the DDR.
Very nice. Love the Rev.
1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
That is indeed a lovely obverse Jon.... Cheers, RickO
The contrast of the soft obverse tone with the reverse makes this a very stunning quarter.
I like it.
