Mr. Mike from Nigeria no doubt. I'll get right on it. Thanks.
What's not legit? He has a G-Mail account. That's good enough for me.
bob
by invitation only , not just anyone can get gmail. Oh sorry I had a mini stroke and thought it was 2007 , carry on
Gold dust, is that what they are calling gold bearing dirt over there.
!!!
I did not realize the scammers had now moved to 'gold dust' or any precious metals... usually it was always cash they were trying to move....Sadly, many have lost their savings and even died through these scams. So, although I laugh when I receive these (and I get two or three a month), there is a dark side involved. Cheers, RickO
My latest communication with "Mike John" says he's will to pay a 20% commission.....
I'm going to play him for a bit, this might be fun.
bob
Okay, he's not in Nigeria. Ghana is where he's at......Hmmmm
bob
Mike John.
2 generic first names...
Ask for a sample as proof of concept.
Got to play with him first. I indicated that I'm in Nevada which produces more gold than most countries. I also said that I have banking connections in Accra and also Kumasi and mining connections there as well. This really is fun. I did this two years ago with another "scammer" until he just refused to respond to my emails. Called his bluff so to say.
bob
Dang, now the amount is only 25KG not the 250KG he originally promised. He said his gold comes from the eastern region of Ghana and there is NO gold in eastern Ghana.....I think this is a scam?
I have asked for his proof of concept and an explanation.
bob
Okay, I've asked him for proof of ID and a certificate from the Ghana Mining commission on his mine. Now he says that the dust is in Boston, USA! Ok, so I've asked him to take it to a refiner in Attleboro. Even gave him the address of Glines and Rhodes Precious Metals refinery. Let's turn the dust into bars!

Did she make you cry
Make you break down
Shatter your illusions of love
And is it over now do you know how
Pick up the pieces and go home.
Loves me some shiny!
I represent the Vanderbilt American Widows Investment Fund (VAWIF), and we would be interested but our minimum is at least 100 kg of gold dust. It is unfortunate that the amount is smaller than we accept, unless the assay is over 400%. Our last shipment from Eastern Ghana was only 378% which was a major disappointment.
I knew it would happen.
Great fishing Bob...reel him in.
Knowledge is the enemy of fear
Well, he will not "provide documents over the internet". He refuses to give me any of his MINCOM information as well. Like I'm going to highjack his claim! (MINCOM is Ghana's Mining Commission). I guess we are done with him. Did have a bit of fun though.
bob
My YouTube Channel
You just blew a 20% commission.
I knew it would happen.
I know, and I probably only had to give him my ID and SSN and bank routing number to get the 20%!
bob
And I was hoping to find out how 250kg in Ghana became 25kg in Boston. That's a lot of shrinkage! (or commissions, as the case may be.)
I knew it would happen.
