Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
The post by @mkman123 is a very good one to keep in mind.
To @KyleCalloway, you have joined the PCGS boards at a time when we have had a relatively large influx of inexperienced, overzealous and/or abrasive new members and many of these new members are likely alts or trolls. Therefore, it is only natural for some folks to look at new members with suspicion. You will get the most help with your sale, and the most reasonable offers, by including as much relevant information as possible. Items such as dates, grades, prices and images of the individual coins or groups will go a long way toward helping you reach your goals. Good luck and welcome to the PCGS boards.
To the more established members of the PCGS boards, I would only suggest that in my opinion this post does not appear to be the alt/troll type of post we have so recently been plagued with and, as such, some help and patience might go a long way.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
All of the above and expect to ship before payment.
Please post the pictures along with the price. I a m willing to help out
???????? whats going on ???????
As a "card carrying" disabled vet, I am REALLY leery of, not only brand new members trying to sell right away, but also of any veteran touting that in their bid to sell. Particularly "disabled" veterans.
While it may be legit, too often it dangerously is not legit.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
I was about to say something similar, but am happy a vet chimed in first. I love veterans and fully support them, but why do so many people use that as a selling line?
They use it to get trust and sympathy.
Even though I am a disabled vet, I am nowhere as disabled as many, and my heart goes out to them. Even they, however, seldom start a conversation with "I'm a disabled vet and I need.....". Rather, I have found that many of us just do things and, if questioned, or having a problem, we may bring up "sorry, but being a disabled vet, I actually have a problem 'lifting/walking/etc", if the disability is not that easy to see. If you were to visually look at me, you wouldn't think I was a disabled vet...until you saw me try to do certain things maybe. I'm not missing a leg or anything. I'm a lucky one.
I went to Lowe's today and they give a 10% discount to veterans. Unless you retired, are still active, or carry your DD214 with you, it can be hard to prove, but the VA has started doing actual cards now. I've had mine, since I have had to have one of my issues re-evaluated, and it started the conversation about being a disabled vet with the clerk, when she saw the card and brought it up (her daughter is being medically discharged and the card started that conversation).
So, all respect to the OP who, at this time, has not shown himself to be distrustful, but, as I said above, too many people start out with that type of "sales line" that aren't disabled vets, or even vets, and many times, they aren't ones to be trusted.
So, take things slow, learn the place, learn the people, and, if legit, I hope things work out.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
You need to come out and proof us all wrong otherwise this proof to be a scam
@KyleCalloway
Well KyleCalloway ;
I'm going to add my 2 cents worth. I am a disabled vet. I see people all the time with signs or cardboard cutouts so I am always leery of people using this as a sales tool. That being said, I am always willing to help out a fellow Vet who is having problems as I've been there myself. Not being able to work full time and trying to live on a disability pay is Day to day and very hard, and ends NEVER meet. There is a variety of things wrong with your post. Nobody in there right mind will buy something from someone on line without some kind of proof ie pictures or certificates. Your post is vague , what am I going to bid on, has to have more than "a bunch of coins " and you are NEW and nobody has done business with you to pave the way. I just don't know what to bid or buy because I don't know what varieties or upgraded is. Additionally, I can put you in touch with a wealth of organizations and agencies who have numerous ways to help you. The primary being DAV "Disabled American Vets" of which I am a lifetime member. So if you're real and want to sell your collection to generate extra money, Show us some Meat, If you are Trolling to Scam, The people on this Board are experts and can spot scams almost as fast as they are being typed and this is not the place for you.

From the bottom of my heart...I thank you for you service!
@bobsr
Well Paradisefound, I'll tell you what I tell people who thank me for my service. When I went into the army, I was a 17 year old hillbilly from the mountains of Kentucky. I was given my first pair of New shoes of my life and not hand me downs from my brother. I was given a bed to sleep in that for the first time of my life didn't have my 3 brothers sleeping in it with me. I gained 41 pounds in basic training and my Drill Inst said I was the 1st recruit ever to gain weight in basic. I got my own gun to shoot, Lots of new clothes and at the end of the month they gave me money. $ 81.00 How could life possibly get any better. After my 2nd tour in Vietnam, They let me finish my tour but not re-enlist and after 10 years I found myself back in civilian life albeit with a small pension. I hitch-hiked to the Pentagon and went into the Sargeant Major of the Armies office and got down on my knees in front of his desk and begged him to let me go back in. Turns out you had to have a full compliment of body parts to serve active duty at the time and I was missing a few. Now I see young hard chargers on active duty with artificial arms and legs. You don't have to thank me for my service, I WAS HONORED to serve my Country.

you and your courage !
@bobsr
I am not a Vet but every generation in my family has served. After going through 9/11 I don't know how you guys have managed to do so well. I still have issues with that whole experience and don't think I will ever get past it.

I am a decorated, disabled Vietnam vet. I had PTSD for over 40+ years and didn't know it until I arrived at my peak of despair. My wife got me to call the crisis line and drove me to the VA hospital in East Orange NJ. I am grateful for life today and all my care at the VA is excellent. Let's encourage this person to show what he has to offer. If he doesn't or can't it wasn't meant to be. I am encouraged by all the direction and explanations in numerous postings. Peace Roy

I appreciate all the kind words and those fellow ground pounders of Military Branches I salute your service. As soon as I have the noggin to work through how to post pictures of what I have then I will definitely post. Sorry for the delays. As for my integrity that is in question I understand the leeriness of a scumbag scammer and being new here I can take the cherry comments. I am a combat disabled veteran and wounded in my first cherry pop which was the Mogue or Mogadishu. Unaware that I had actually hairline fractured my spine in 2 places the upper and lower I fought through the pain for another 5 years and 3 more jaw clinching deployments until my mobility was to difficult to say the least plus the pain just became literally unbearable. So I reluctantly was honorably discharged after 6 years from the 75th Ranger Bat. Being the Ranger I had been molded into I refused to give in to the injury and continued on without ever seeing a doctor for it for another 10 years until my mother begged me to go to the VA and she is my Rock and my true Savior. My PTSD was very extreme and out of control and it was truly trying to kill me. I am in control now and it will more than likely rear it's evil head from time to time until this old Ranger finally agrees to leave this earth but I'm kicking it's ass and I'm PROUD of My SACRIFICE for my Beloved Country and I'm especially proud of every soldier that gave up everything to make out country continue to be free. Now that is out of the way and I will be taking and posting the pictures of what I have shortly. I have a special lady helping me. Oh and thank you so much for the help and support.

Hello Kyle:
Let me be the first to welcome you to the PCGS B/S/T board. and Thank you for your sacrifice and Service. You will find that most people with history here are knowledgable , friendly and professional. I enter transactions with the same trepidation I do when at a coin show and dealing with a dealer I don't personally know. To contact someone here on a personal level, Click on their " Handle" in my case would be BobSr. That will bring down a splash page with my personal "Board or Wall " in the right top center will be a tab saying " Message " clicking on that will drop down a Message splash page that is then self explanatory, and will allow you to communicate with just me and not visible to the world.
Ok , so be aware that 1970's, 1980's and some 1990's proof sets can be bought almost for the face value of the coins themselves. Those you have posted don't have a lot of value much over face value and the 2x2's only add a nickel in cost. The earlier nickels, ie the 1958 thru early 1960's are more valuable than the more modern ones. It would help if you had some idea what you were looking to get for them.
Lastly, on your wall you mentioned you needed money for car repair. Can you tell us whats wrong and how much it will cost. Also, I would personally appreciate a private " New Message " to me with your mailing address if you feel confident enough to post it.
