put it in a ziplock with a hard boiled egg if you want fast fake toning. Then send it to me and I will dip it for you, no charge lol

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACO™" Tuesday????
I am not the best picture taker. So I have to explain that most of the coins in this batch have very nice light gold toning around the rim.
I recycle most of my ASE experimental coins as learning curve in both dipping and toning. As a rookie, I still need to learn more about AT pattern and dipped. There are no better way to try them myself to prevent bad future purchase.
Anyhow, PM me your address. Rotten eggs are free of charge.

Aha... another budding chemist (sounds better than 'doctor' here on the forum).....just wait until you build a 'tarnish chamber'...amazing what happens then... Cheers, RickO
Those snaps probably release more sulfur if used?
Putting a book of matches in the bag would probably yield the same results.
Have you ACTUALLY done this or are you just adding more of the usually humorous "FLUFF?
Experimenting with toning as the OP has done is a good way to learn about the colors and patterns. Most experiments will yield "brown." The good colors are in the rainbow. I'll post some of mine when I dig them out.
LOL !!!
