Successful Bids; Mixed Emotions

All four bids in the latest Numismatik Naumann auction were winners. But no one bid against me. Hope it is not a case of others knowing something that I did not! If that pattern occurs throughout this month, I am going to be very popular with consignors!

Congratulations! The sales are generally fairly competitive, but some bargains can always be had given the number of lots and, especially this month, the number of auctions. Were they all in a specific category or a mix?

I am putting together a set of exemplar coins of 17th century German states. Three of the coins were 1/24 thalers. I placed minimal bids on those.
The fourth item was a 17th century German medal that I really liked. I particularly am pleased to win it, but surprised that no one else bid upon it.

Bidding blind and winning at a favorable price can be a blessing or a curse
