I bought this nickel, Buffalo nickel

I found this one roaming around so I gave it a home. The strike and luster is pretty damn good compared to my 65's of the same date. I think this one might be a tad better. If you have a 1917 buffalo nickel please do show it here.
At any rate here "t'is. It has ribbed toning

I enjoy looking at pretty buffalo nickels, this one included.... I have to go search to remind myself of what the F on the obverse means.... sure it's the designer, but if so can not remember the name....

Clean fields and a near full strike. Black Diamond seems to want to make a statement when he starts grazing with the others.

It's amazing to me how resilient some coin surfaces can be after 100 years. I think you have no less than a 66 with that one.

Yes I do agree, Pete. Ricko and I also feel the same way about the grade. I’ll be disappointed if it grades less that a 66. The obverse looks 67 to me complete full details. The reverse I’d say 66 full details.

this coin is truly unique.... it has the wood grain toning along with the rainbow. The strike is a bit weaker, but I would trade almost all my coins for this (SAD I DO NOT OWN IT)
