Finished and Retired My Toned Proof Mercury Dime Set, But First Got Some Truviews To Share

Recently retired my set of proof mercs that was built over the last 5 years to put towards school costs. Figured I'd share some truviews. Some coins have been shown before, others this is the first appearance.
This set was built with a focus on eye appeal before grade. I fell in love with toned proof mercury dimes after purchasing the 1937 coin in this set. The way the toning sits on the brilliant surfaces was gorgeous to me and inspired me to complete the set. Proof mercury dimes are plentiful, a "dime a dozen," but finding them with beautiful toning can be a real challenge, especially in the early years.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
A stunning set, congratulations!
Those grades aren't too shabby, either.

The 37 and 42 are my favorite. Phenomenal set and great job! What's the next set you plan on working on?
Amazing little works of art you assembled.
Enjoyed the preface to your album as well.
Congrats and best wishes.

The 37 caught my eye as it reminiscent of a coin in my collection:
Thanks for sharing...Mike
Congratulations! Beautiful coins
valente151, Congrats as that is quite the accomplishment...
What a sweet set of Winged Liberty dimes!
While you were searching for color above grade, I will say you have some high quality grade coins in that set.... FSB's as well.... Cheers, RickO
Wow! Unbelieveably beautiful set of coins. That 38 takes my breath. Congratulations on a wonderful collection.

Holy Crap, what a set - don't think anyone could improve on that, eye appeal wise! Did you sell the set intact to another collector, or consign it to a dealer/auction?
Beautiful set! Congrats.
Hoard the keys.
Some time ago, Michael sold me a wonderfully toned 1938 Mercury in PCGS Pr 67. I'm unable just now to post the photo that he posted when he sold it, but it is fascinating to see what he replaced it with. Perhaps he could put that picture up on this board? In any case, while I sold the bulk of my US coin collection last year, Michael's dime was something I couldn't sell.
Love the reverse on the 38.
Sweet set.
Great set! I hope you still check in regularly here.
Was it this coin? I've gone through alot of coins building this set lol
Sold intact to a dealer, with some dupes included. I believe I can say that Witter Coins bought them as I don't stand to benefit from posting that.
So next is a toned proof Walking Liberty set, right?
i like them all.
Maybe some day. The 1938 came from an old NGC multi coin holder with a 1938 proof set. The quarter and half were also spectacular, I'd want this walker in a set.
This is the image I bought it from on eBay. (MFH said I was insane for buying the whole set just for the dime)
And here's what showed up, in addition to the dime above. (The cent and nickel were plain Jane.)
Was a phenomenal set, and I've heard the three coins have been reunited with the same buyer now.
Phenomenal set? I'll say! I don't know if I like the 25c or the 50c better.
