Recent NEWPS From a Trip to Portland, Maine

I was in Portland, Maine a few weeks ago on vacation for a couple of days and managed to pickup a few coins. I can't say enough good things about the lady who helped me at Maine Gold and Silver. I don't know her name, but she was a pleasure to speak with. These were picked from a box that was not yet put out, not that there's anything extraordinary here, but it was a nice gesture on her part. Aside from coins, her other hobby is restoring vintage British cars. If you're ever in Portland, I would highly recommend stopping by.

    Nice coins and it seems you had a very pleasant buying experience. Next time I am in Portland I will stop by the shop. I have two daughters that live in Maine. Cheers, RickO

    Nice coins you picked up. I particularly like the 1844-O Seated Half.

    It is a nice, clean coin that exhibits honest wear.
