What is on this Buffalo?
Any idea what this is above the Buffalo's back, where E Pluribus Unum is located? It looks to me like a depression under Unum and Pluribus is partially filled-in for some reason. I don't know if this is damage, a planchet defect, or something else.

Is it details or graded?

Is it a clash mark?
Graded

My thoughts too.
What is the date and grade on it?
The coin has been clashed. What your seeing is the chin of the Indian between PLURIBUS and UNUM. Clashed coins do not affect the technical grade of a coin,
Here's an Overlay.

@BuffaloIronTail ....Excellent overlay to demonstrate the clash.... Thanks, Cheers, RickO
Love the overlay. Can answer a lot of questions for me in the future.

Looking at the overlay, I agree on the clash.

Excellent answer. I was going to call it a "fantastic" and leave it at that.

Well, thanks but it's really nothing, That clash is common in the Buff series.
Glad you all got info from it.
