Can you me more specfic as to what variety you claim to have?

Again beating the dead horse lol but you have over 400 posts and lots of those concern questions about doubling. I assume thats the question again if not sorry but do a google search BY Jt Stanton or somebody here posted one by NGC. they have pictures
    showing it as well. :D

If you readthe article (S) it will explain it in detail or just continue and post here and be told its mechanical doubling etc and no value. ;)

For those of you who think I am too harsh on said person just look at the many previous post of
    this subject matter.

You definitely have a DDO. The question is, which one? There are 19 different known doubled die obverses for 1964-D. Try looking here- remember, if your coin doesn't exactly match the photos, it isn't the variety:

Yes I posted threads on this before. Still no conclusion. Driving me nuts for this reason. I just took more close ups of this the other day. These are those pictures. I didn’t notice the tripling before but now with these better pics, it looks like it may be the quadrupled die obverse. So my question is do you think this is a quadrupled die obverse. Also if it bothers people because I’m trying to figure out a coin variety that might be a new variety, they might want to get upset about something that matters lol. If you don’t want to read the post, just don’t read the post. Don’t let it get to you that I’m taking numerous close ups and doing my best in this extremely tough and time consuming hobby. I keep posting about this because there has not been a concrete answer yet and now that I had new info (pics) to share that showed more than just doubling, I knew it was time to share it and get your thoughts. I’m not trying to step on anyone’s toes at all. I’m just doing what I should be doing on a coin forum, asking questions about coins when I have questions. I put crazy time into this particular coin because it’s hands down a ms-66 so if it is a new discovery, it would probably hold the top spot condition wise for a long long time and if it’s a known variety it’s would be worth $300-700. So this isn’t just a post about a ragged Kennedy half.

Also GIANTSFAN. It makes no sense to disagree with my post when there was nothing to agree or disagree with. The post was titled please help me identify this 1964-d variety then I posted pics I took that were extremely hard to get as I held an iPad steady zoomed in as I held my 16x magnifier in the other hand with as close to perfect lighting I could get to show every splitting of the letters in “IN GOD WE TRUST”. I’m a dedicated collector with very reasonable questions concerning this coin. Read the other posts and you will see that still no one could say for sure what variety it was and some people even thought it could be a new exciting variety. Now I saw tripling in new pics and decided to post them as get other collectors feedback. I will now disagree with all of your posts for no reason to lower your rating on here since that’s what you want to do to me. IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW I CAN REPORT HIS ABUSE PLEASE LET ME KNOW so I don’t actually have to waste time turning into a troll like giantsfan. I here because I care and have a passion for this hobby. That’s why I didn’t just say “OH LOOKS LIKE A DDO” and just label it a doubled die obverse and sell it. Nope instead I spent excessive time to see exactly what I had and I think it’s possibly a new discovery or a 4xddo. But to me it’s looks more like a tripled die obverse lol from the bottom of the R in TRUST. I guess GIANTSFAN doesn’t understand that a discovery specimen is worth thousands and a regular ddo in worth just a few hundred. Please give me the respect I deserve when my questions are legit and my pictures are better than 90% of the photos seen on here.
To keep things positive and informative. Here is an interesting fact about coins I found out this morning when looking on my instagram. I follow stacksbowers auction house on my feed and saw he posted this

It is a doubled die. Which of the many for this date I cannot say. But, you got one!

    Congratulations.

    I suspect DDO-015

You could submit to Wiles, and if new variety get discovery credit

It seems you have the tripled die obverse pictured in the CPG, page 303. Nice find... Cheers, RickO

Hey Rick. Thanks for your comment. I typed cherrypickers guide 1964-d tripled die obverse Kennedy half dollar on google and found someone who sold a raw one on eBay . He had these pics posted of his CPG. is this the one you thought it could be? And if so, mine has RDV-001 with the straight G. Not the RDV-002 like I see in the cpg. Also I do not have a D/D rpm with mine. So could you help me understand something... what does it mean when it says Early die state unconfirmed and LATE Die state unconfirmed. What would I look for to prove it was an EDS or LDS. Could the EDS or LDS be paired with a RDV-001 and still be considered the same variety even though it has a different RDV than is listed in the MDS? I’m also posting this in the post I made so if you can help clearly explain this, it will be available for all to read on the forum. You’re always a true gentleman with a good helping hand and I really mean this, thank you for all of your input on all of my posts. You have been the most welcoming, helpful, and informative on this forum. The world could use more RICKOS.
