I think aol is having issues with Internet Explorer. I haven't been able to access it there for awhile but have no problems with Chrome. I just checked on Chrome before I posted this.

I wish I had this problem with my email then I wouldn't get all this spam and junk mail every day.

It's old, outdated and still running in the next room. Will eventually upgrade the machine (given the new one is sitting next to me)

Yup, there's a problem with AOL. Started maybe an hour ago?

    You have mail!

I thought only geezers still used AOL. When I had it decades ago, I called it America Off LIne.

AOL is taking over many email accounts. All of Verizons email was moved to AOL mail. It actually is better than when Verizon handled it!

Geez - I have had Verizon forever and never knew that they had an email platform. Never used it.
I see they took over Yahoo - aptly named. I never use that either as there are better choices.

So to answer the question in the OP.
    My Gmail is working perfectly.
My Spectrum email is working perfectly.
My Outlook email is working perfectly.
Can't remember the last time I had an email problem.

Mine is working fine. Yes, I am a relic, and it's an email I signed up for when I got married...just can't seem to part with it even though I have fully functioning gmail too!

I had trouble the other day. Seems OK today.
I moved many that used the AOL address to a gmail account. No problems with the moved ones. AOL has been becoming more and more unreliable. I've had it for more than 20 years so it's used all over the place. Eventually I'll migrate everything to gmail.

That's what I said, yet here I am still using AOL, like oh say CU. How can one be sentimental about an email address??????

Didn't AOL and Yahoo merge to form Oath? Maybe the transfer of systems is causing the problem.

I used to day trade stocks on compuserve using an etrade account starting in 1994 , I was done before they had an actual website . As an early adopter I lost all my money before the dot com boom even began , :D .

Hmmmm, I'm pretty sure Verizon does not do email and farms it out to AOL. At least that is what happened to me. I just celebrated 20 years with the same email address! Started out as gte, then Verizon bought them, and now the email has moved to aol. Could be different circumstances as this email was from an old dial-up account. Paid for dial-up I didn't need or use for years to keep my email addy. My email was then shifted to aol when Verizon stopped offering dial-up internet.

I now have AT+T as an internet provider and Yahoo services AT+T's email and yes it does kindda SUCK!
