Are these Doubled Die Lincolns?

Be gentle, my first try at this...
You bet they are, minor varieties, but doubled dies nonetheless.
I am a member of CONECA, and have been for quite some time. Back in the mid 90's as I recall there was a bid board (if this is the correct term) in the back of the Issue of Errorscope. You could call in and bid on different lots of error coins. I was a noob at that point, (some ways and how's still am). I won a few of these lots of DD's, I also won several unc (minor #2,#3,#7 of the 1972 Lincoln), and various other dates.

Much fun was had by me with these auctions, these are from the last lot I won:

I wanted to learn more, began to search rolls acquired from my bank. Honestly I couldn't tell if I had one or not. During that same time frame I was a frequent customer of a shop in Chicago named Jake's Marketplace.
John J. was and is a great guy, helped me very much with my quest.
First thing he told me was to buy this book, I took that to heart and bought 2 copies.

The numbering system I know and use I learned from this book. Much has changed since then and there are various numbering / lettering systems now in use. For me it has become quite confusing.
The only DD I found in the 'wild' was the 1997 doubled ear, unfortunately I don't have it with me it is in the SDB. They are out there and I'm still looking for them...

We all started somewhere, noobs one and all. The next time let's try not to do this when we see
"Hey fellas is this a double die?"

Thanks,
Steve~

Edit to add, John at Jake's found this one for me, 1936 Die #1,he was as excited as I was.

Sorry, cell phone pic. Honestly I don't have the proper camera to provide good photos.

You need to take picture holding your loop over your camera lenses so we can see closer. Good luck

Take a picture of one coin at a time.

If they all look like the close up you posted, then yes, they are DDO. Congrats!

For what it's worth, the lower right hand coin has a decent mis-aligned die strike.

I always enjoyed the different versions in 1972. At one point, I think I had all of them with the exception of Die 4. They would make a great educational display with nice close-up photos !

If I remember correctly Die#4, Die#8 are the rarest. I never found (for sale) either of these two.

    I believe 001 and 004 are the rarest...with 004 being the rarest.

I stand corrected, should have stated of the minor varieties #4, #8 are the rarest, and yes #4 is rarer than the king of 72, Die#1.
