I do not collect morgans.... what grade is this I thought... details UNC.... I would put a 62 on it if it were not cleaned?

Perhaps it's the lighting, but I see a cleaned AU that may have also been lightly polished. Regardless, there is no way, no how that the coin is or has MS details.

That is a cleaned Morgan. The halo around the obverse stars jump out...even in that poorly lit picture.

I don't specialize in Morgan dollars, so my response here might be way off, but it has been my experience that those who collect or specialize in VAMs typically like to find them in the wild or cherry them for themselves rather than actually pay someone for them already found. If you view the accounting on this coin as $0 because of the ebay bucks then you will make a great return, but if you view the accounting as $40 due to its acquisition cost then I wouldn't go into this flip with lots of optimism.
Please keep in mind that Morgan VAMs are not my area of expertise and I could be completely wrong.

you know you may be right. Perhaps i will look at coin in hand and return as the seller said i could. particularly since I explicitly asked if it was cleaned and he said no.

I don't think I have every inspired anyone, so that is a first. I think you can't go wrong with such a generous return policy. I would think that it would be difficult to flip if, when you see it in hand it looks cleaned. Hunting VAM's can be addictive for sure.

since I purchased this coin today. I just asked to cancel the transaction. I had a feeling it was cleaned, hence my asking.

VAMs are addicting as previously stated. However, remember that all Morgan dollars are VAMs. This VAM is a common one and finding one in XF or AU should not be hard with a bit of looking. There are always some up on ebay and a few with Make Offers.....might start there.

btw the seller wants to charge me shipping because this is "an unusual transaction"

If you filed a SNAD then you will be given a label to print and he pays the shipping. If you asked to return it otherwise, it's on you and you need to provide the postage to get it back to him. Just depends on what he said in the auction and what was delivered. If he said it was not cleaned then file a SNAD (sold not as described), print the label, affix to envelope and ship it back. Pack it nicely.
