1949 D Quarter any value?

I have 20 of them, just wondering if there’s any value there or not. Thanks everyone.

Quarters aren't really my thing but unless I am missing something I would think it would be worth at least 3 bucks each.
Thank you brother. I’ve got to get all my coins arranged and see just what I do have. I sure appreciate the input man.

This is the type of coin (common silver coin) that is often lumped into the term "junk silver". I don't particularly care for the term, but most coin folk understand its meaning. The coin's value is intimately tied to the bullion value of silver. At today's silver bullion price a silver quarter contains approximately $3 in silver, which is where the previous value would come from. A site such as coinflation.com will tell you how much silver is in each generic coin type. Good luck!

I know the feeling I inherited a hoard of about 20 thousand assorted coins and I am still going through all of them
Today: 20 * 3 = $60
Its 90 percent silver so.atleast 3 each!

I like the term "melt" more than "junk", but they are valued at silver content. Right now, as mentioned, 12X face or so - most buyers will buy at a little back of that rate.
Coinflation.com will give you current multipliers by coin down to a couple of decimal places.

Old silver quarters... melt value as explained above... I like to find them - albeit occasionally - in the Coinstar reject slot. Cheers, RickO
