I made a new discovery "BIE" (actually, it's an IIB but any break in the area of LIBERTY on the Lincoln Cent is termed a BIE) on a 1957-D Cent. The coin also has a minor tripled RPM. Here's what it looks like:

Nice pickups, not sure if I showed this one off, its an electrotype that's been silvered.
Someone went through a lot of work to get this look. Or couldn't afford the real silver so this was the next best thing.

Milner and Thompson operated a music business in Christchurch, New Zealand.
There attractive tokens, often but not always featuring a Maori warrior were retained as souvenirs, there are 9 varieties.
Robert Thompson was born in Harrow. Middlesex, England in 1835, and educated at Harrow, he arrived in Littleton Canterbury New Zealand in 1856. He purchased a music store in 1874 at the corner of Colombo and Chester streets in Christchurch in 1874, later moving to the high street Christchurch. Mr Milner went into partnership with Mr Thompson and together they operated the business and commissioned Stokes and Martin of Melbourne to mint tokens initially for advertising purposes but later as necessary trading tokens due to the lack of copper coinage in the colony._
I work a stone's throw from the corner of Colombo and Chester Streets. High Street got hit hard by the 2010/2011 earthquakes but is well on its way back.

Great thread this week.
Everything here is outstanding!
Through my life I've been collecting 1968-S, 1969-S, and recently a 1970-S with funky Liberty. Some of the dates are engraved on the 1969's.
In order 1969-S, 1968-S (1), 1968-S (2), 1969-S (2).
Also a 1954-S BIE.
Cheap forum image software nvm.
Cool.

Make sure it hasn't been shoe-horned (hollowed and sanded, sometimes plated), otherwise, neat shopworn find!
