1937 art deco penny

So I recently discovered this penny in my change and I'm curious as to whether or not is been altered or if it is somehow aged like that I guess

I don't see art deco. All I see is a Lincoln cent that has surface damage and worth no more than a cent.
By contrast, this is a 1937 Lincoln cent in an MS67 grade worth around 100 bucks.
Shows how acidic our fingers can be to coins.
The 1909 Lincoln Cent Wheat reverse is definitely a classic "art deco" design, and one of the first in that category.
You are correct, but that coin has had much more than fingering done to it.

@Ponch0079....Welcome aboard...Your cent looks as if it has spent time in the dirt or other inhospitable environment... no special value.... Cheers, RickO
nothing special just a wheat penny with surface damage
