Finally found my 46-S Roosevelt..!

Sorry no serif or DDO or DDR or RPM... I don't think, anyway. And not @ricko approved.
I've been waiting years to find the right one, and absolute decades to find the one that "sang to me".
Nice date, nice IGWT. Usually they're smashed and I hate seeing that. It turned me off dimes for awhile even the high grade ones with metal flow and yuck.
I'm very happy to finally own a 1946-S in MS66.
Hope you enjoy! I'm over the moon!

That's a great looking '46-S. End roll toning?
1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
I assume so. I've got some end roll 64's kicking around that look very similar.
My wife laughed at me doing a happy dance in my office.
Very happy to see you found such a great 1946-S, This yr and MM is one if not the most profound in the entire silver Roosie series, as it has the most FB's and gorgeous examples.
1946-S always come beautifully struck and solid for the grade and you example is awesome!
Later, Paul.
I too have been searching for a nice 46-s dime off and on for many many years. Nice one there for sure.
Enjoy it!
Inverted mintmark?
bob
I'm don't think so on inverted MM. I noticed sometimes this style of S mint marks have something going on at the tail making it appear as such.
Awww thanks!! I've browsed through so many every day since I started buying heavily again 3 months ago. I've asked at every pawn shop or metals place I've stepped foot in since 2010, and had wanted "the one" since 1986.
I passed on a lot of 66FB.. all sorts of "problems".. there were far too many 66's with lack of hair details, smashed date/motto, just.. I don't know.. things that weren't for me, and not what I'd consider my dream coin.
Here's what it looked like on auction. I knew she would be special. Particularly the way this person takes their pictures.
..and I got her for less than a basic takeout lunch.
Glad you found your dream dime.... You certainly are communicating your happiness...Cheers, RickO
It's a nice Dime, but as Stooge mentioned....nice 46-S's are very easy to find.
You might say they are "a Dime a Dozen".
Sorry I couldn't pass up the PUN.

Glad you finally found what you were looking for. That one is certainly a nice example. Enjoy!
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

Now you have me second guessing inverted MM the more I look at the pictures lol. It is normal with some kind of chip or extra metal right?
@halfhunter
Some 1964 end roll toners. They're getting graded for sentimental reasons. More ms63 1964-P dimes in slabs lol.
I think they're very pretty. The first one is turning purplish rose. The second, I'm guessing, is just going to turn to old silver/yellow. It's starting to yellow a little where it looks ruddy brown around 5:00.
The third one has random iridescent across the surface of torch and center. The yellowing and bluing makes it purple in the center and fades into a nice rose like the obverse of Coin 1.
I will never master toning photos. Not with my equipment.
This week of no-sun is hurting my pictures.
This is just a regular "S" mintmark. Not inverted and not a RPM.
I thought so. Thanks. I had a quarter do this to me the other day, and then a different dime yesterday.
I knew you'd pop your head in here @DIMEMAN
Nice coin!
Nice coin, and not inverted. It is the 'Trumpet Tail' style.
I love nice EOR toning regardless of date!
1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
