The last two displays from the Quad City Coin show this past week end

The first display is geared around the Civil War featuring the various odd script used by the Confederate side during that war. The half dollar coin in the upper right hand corner was one that was first struck by the Confederate mint'

The 2nd display is of Classic Commemoratives starting with the first (Columbus) and the others are all from Illinois and it's neighborhood states: (Iowa, Missouri, Kentucky, Wisconsin).

    Very nice displays... I have enjoyed all the one's you have posted.... well done indeed. You should consider going to one of the major shows that have display competitions.....Cheers, RickO

    Your displays look very nice and as I've said before I'd like to do something similar when I get the time and a few more pieces.

    Thanks for the kind comments, but I have to let everyone know, I only did the Redfield and 2 cent displays in another post. These belonged to friends of mine and I will relay your thoughts to them soon.
