I have not seen those red label slabs before.. but been out of the show circuit for a while.... I was aware of the coins, but have not seen any real market for them. Sorry I could not be of more help. Cheers, RickO
Thanks Ricko, I appreciate your posts and always enjoy reading them. Any particular member you may want to refer me to?
Called Apmex, but have not heard back from them...my customer paid a ton...needs the money want to help him out, but judiciously....
Wasn't there a year (not sure if this one) where the TPGs had to revise their "mintages" on these attributed SEs when they found out the box codes they were relying on did not mean what they thought they did in regard to mint of origin? I just have that nugget kicking around in my head but cannot recall all the details.
What will the market bear? Does anyone actually pay a premium for those?
Everyone pretty much just ignores MS70 in ANACS holders. So to most, it is worth the price of an uncirculated Silver Eagle. If you can sell it for anything north of $22 it will be to an amateur collector.

No idea on pricing
Here's one for sale at the low low price of $4890

Looks like HSN has a better price

OK seriously now, JM Bullion has pcgs 69 for about $500

Collector, occasional seller
Thanks so far for the input, but price discovery still seems to be a challenge! Any market makers in these care to step up and help?
Thanks,
RJ
Sadly, the only "market makers" you will see for ANACS holdered coins, particularly modern bullion and in 70 grades, will be 1 way....they sell TO YOU for outlandishly high prices and you WILL NOT get anywhere near much over bullion price if you try to sell back (if they will even want it back at any price).
So, yes, the "70" grade looks great. Highest one can have.
Yes, ANACS is an accepted TPGS.
However, there is no real market for modern bullion, high graded, coins from ANACS. There isn't.
So, asking for a market maker isn't going to help. Any help there is suspect, if they say they are a market maker in these ...
Look at the equivalent PCGS 70 version. See how much that goes for. Then go look at the NGC version. ANACS will be WAY below that to everyone except that, once in a great while, "unknowing" person.....(to use a nice term)
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Bullion is bullion, and plastic is plastic. I think @AMRC is right.
Looks like one of those ANACS holders that were made to be sold on TV. Your customer paid an astounding amount for it and will not get anything close to getting their money back. I seriously doubt that there are any "market makers" here on these boards for that silver eagle. Nearly everyone here that I know of knows to stay away from that over priced stuff from the TV sellers.
Edited to add: Help out your customer as much as possible, and honestly E-Bay is your best bet on pricing as far as the true market is concerned.
A marketing spin and nothing more in my eyes.
Pass of it and let somebody else annoy the customer.
Wow. I just checked eBay and found 1 sold PCGS 69 that brought $480. It sold on 3/27 I think. That may be his best bet, but don't count on history repeating itself. That was the only one I found sold or unsold. Good luck!
I just seen a ANACS ( Blue label)MS69 for $395 on HSN while channel surfing.
Too much controversy on these coins for me to pay such a premium. Maybe someday, someone will find some invoices to say that these were not minted in Philly and it was a packaging or clerical error.
