Searching a few rolls I picked up and the date stood out to me - particularly the inner curve of the 6 and possible notching in the "0". Is this some type of DDO-001 Stage D? I'm admittedly terrible at picking out varieties - don't think it's machine doubling as I have a whole roll of the same although it very well could be?

It's not DDO-001, it's a normal small-date Lincoln cent. They all have the anomaly on the inner curve of the 6. As for the zero, the first thing that comes to mind (and I could be wrong) is die fatigue, which can appear as a doubling effect.
Yea I’ve looked at that as well as Variety Vista to look at Stage A-D on this variety and it doesn’t match any of them. There’s definitely no ghost RPM on mine so my guess on this is that it’s not likely to be the variety but the inner curve of the 6 sure looks odd.
How ever it turns out.....................keep searching and share your finds with us here

Not a DDO... But rest assured, you do see 'something'...as explained above... Keep searching...Cheers, RickO
Yup as they said up top it's not one. But when looking at rolls you can find them in herds if you find one there can be many. I found 16 or 19 in one roll once. So don't give up just keep looking good eye keep it up.
Hoard the keys.
