Looks like another data point for 1921 Vam 1H coming up
Many here may not care or even think it's silly, but I thought it might be of interest to some.
With the low population of this coin PCGS doesn't have a whole lot of pricing info. The latest auction being the 11/17 HA. There is finally a lower grade(62) example in a true auction on ebay with strong bidding HERE. Still 5 days left and already over $800 with 44 bids and 18 watchers, even with marginal pictures. This is making me debate listing the MS64 example that I own....

Seems like the ebay listing could well top the price guide for a 63 grade.... Cheers, RickO
Nice..
Hoard the keys.
.
AWESOME. Glad to see it doing so well.
I'm bidding for the eye appeal of an all-caps item description.
Ended at $1100. That's higher than current PCGS price guide for a 64.

finished STRONG. I think the price guide is off!
53 bids. Very strong interest on the coin.

That the same obverse die was used to make a few medal press proofs, then put in a toggle press is interesting, but that's about all. The VAM variety is not rare and each coin has to carry its own merit.
Well scratch that result from the record. Looks like the buyer got cold feet and it's for sale again. The previous auction result is already in CoinFacts so I guess they'll have to pull it back out.

So it "sold" again for $900, but now it is listed yet again as a BIN for $1450...? I have no idea what is going on with this seller or this coin. My unsubstantiated guess is that their shills keep winning.

This coin looks nicer to me. Pretty reasonable priced as well.
I saw that the other day. Given what happened with the other one I figured it would be scooped up in no time.
