Would you buy colorized ASE's at melt?

My local bullion dealer had 5 and we agreed they were culls so he let me buy them for melt value. Mistake or not?

They aren't worth much more but at melt you can't go wrong!

Thanks, I'll just put them in a tube with plain bullion coins. Making sure they were at least worth melt.

That was a good buy.
Like was posted, acetone removes holograms and decals. Some of the coins turn out very nice.

I personally wouldn't, but there's really no downside. If I ever did in a moment of weakness, I'd acetone them.

I would buy them at melt... but would attempt a negotiation for a little below first....I would shoot for 10% below melt... of course, would be happy with melt if that is what it came down to.... Cheers, RickO

Yeah sure, I would buy them. It’s still an ounce of silver at melt.
The colorized ASEs aren’t my cup of tea, but different strokes for different folks.
