Not that it matters to me what you think, but why do you feel that I should like Tiger Woods??!! I think I have the freedom to like or dislike TW. He is a TOOL!

A tool that has not won a major tournament in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 and is still considered the best golfer ever by a bunch of hanger ons.

I suppose that Patrick Reed deserves some mention at 15 under and sailing towards Sunday triumph.

He was well on his way until Elin hit him with a nine iron.

Reed opened at 50-1 to win the Masters. Good luck to anyone that put a few $ on him. Was reported earlier that a $4000.00 bet was put on Tiger to win. A really good Masters so far.

Credit where credit is due for Tiger having a good round today, when he could have just folded up and quit.

However it's been quite obvious that Tiger will never again be anything like he was. We've seen this, for example in great baseball players getting old, and still "hanging around" in MLB, occasionally they can have a good day when they have a good game, hit a home run, etc, but just can't do it any longer on a consistent basis to realistically compete against younger players.

Will Tiger ever win a PGA tournament again - unlikely, but possible as he is only 42 years old. Will he ever win a major again? I don't see that ever happening considering his physical problems, while all the younger healthier guys key in on those majors.

Based on his play this year, sure he could win a PGA tournament. He came in 2nd at Valspar.

Question of course is his health going forward and perhaps more importantly, his willingness to be a non contender most weeks as the vast number of professional golfers are.

And bold. In fact that may be the boldest statement I've seen in the Sports Talk forum in some time.

Congratulations to Reed. He withstood the charges. Thought for awhile Spieth would prevail. What a comeback. I was curious about the history of Butler Cabin. Googled it and was interesting. There are 10 of these types of "cabins". Cabins they are not if you see the pictures. They are more like middle/upper middle class suburban homes. Well it is all relevant. To the millionaires who frequent Augusta, and the type of homes they inhabit, these would appear to them cabin like. They are reserved for the elite, members, and Pro golfers. Rory stayed in one in 2010. He said they are deceptively large inside.
