Goldilocks as it relates to the NH Manchester Coin show
This past weekend we had the pleasure to travel to the Manchester NH coin show
This show begins on Thursday and our only negative sadly was a major accident which shut down the road and we sat in traffic for an extra hour ... normally the trip is similar to driving to Boston about 4 hours It’s an easy drive and very scenic anyway back to my story.
You remember when our hero Goldilocks called out this one is too big. This one is too small and this one is just right? Well that describes this show to a T. Just right, Ernie who is the show promoter goes out of his way to make each dealer and each attendee feel welcome. For dealers it might be the morning coffee for collectors it might be being able to stamp your parking ticket for a reduced parking fee in the indoor garage.
If you haven’t been to this Coin show held twice a year I recommend trying to find the time to attend. Collectors will enjoy this show because it’s not too small with many interesting dealers from My good friend Colonel Steve From Butternut Coin to several specialized dealers selling everything from errors, currency, Washington medals, bullion to your local NE dealers. So you have that nice Mix Big dealers like JJ Teaparty for example and something for everyone. And the show is not to Big like FUN where you feel overwhelmed and rushed to try to see everything and everyone.
Normally I would show more pics but this time I had some extra time to write a bit more and I hope I’m not boring all ... and while the hotel which is attached was a radisson, I was delighted to learn that it is being renovated and will shortly be turning into a Hilton Doubletree
Anyone like a cookie upon check in?
Now we picked up some great coins that we will be adding to our online inventory. Nice items like R5 CA fractionals. (You know those little gold pieces) here’s one of several newps
We also picked up early half’s, nice gold, so Called Dollars A Nice morgan dollar collection and lots of other neat fresh coins. If you do visit The show there is a whole bunch of wonderful restaurants alone the street of the hotel. The show was crowded all days and Brandon and I were kept busy showing coins chatting with several PcGS forum members and answering questions from various collectors. I actually think our never ending candy Bowl had a lot to do with the traffic at our table. Probably a bunch of other things I could mention like a nice amount of other activities for attendees including guest speakers, this is one week run show...good security and a pleasure for dealers in a well lit clean venue. Next show I believe will be up there in Nov and hope to see you there
A little more eye candy including several nice c mint gold coins in early holders for you..
Wishing all a good evening and a great April

Ernie is a fantastic promoter and a real stand-up guy. Normally, I always make this show, but missed it this time around. He does two other shows local to me that I attend regularly.
Thanks for the great report.
Cheers
Bob
