One problem I have is that most of the coins I'm looking at are on auction - and the auction end-dates don't typically align with these discount windows. Secondly, I find myself looking at things I don't really need and then, when it's time to spend the bucks, I find myself doing the same again. A bit of self-control addresses the second issue but not the first...

I'm maxxed out this month. It's too bad, also. The previous go around worked out very well for me, all sold with free eBay bucks leftover. But, alas, I'll have to wait till next quarter.

jmlanzaf; do you know if I can use this over on multiple items? How did you accumulate $800 eBay bucks on the last go around if I may ask? You did a heck of a job for sure....

I did exercise some discipline on the last 15% since I did not see anything I really need nor want. Good thing I did because I bought a new Dan Carr Winged Liberty instead a few days ago.
These kind of offer really enticing but my Mom used to say "100% off if you don't buy anything"; not sure if it's really make any sense though....

Every offer is a little different. This one says you can apply it to any item over $50 (except bullion and cars) - at least the one I got. bec

It was easy to max out my $1000 (two accounts) because of two different offers. I got an 8% on sales, so I unloaded my own silver bucket. Then they had the 15% offer last week. I ended up buying 21 Gold 20 Franc coins last week (total cost $5338) which gave me roughly $800 there to go with the $200 I had the week before.

Of course, I wasn't trying to buy any keepers. I was just trying to generate "free" eBay bucks that I could use later. The premium on gold is so low, it was easy to buy the 20 Francs at about 2% over melt, get 2% back on my credit card which gave me the 20 Francs at essentially straight melt. Standard dealer price is 98% of melt on those, so I took a 2% loss (about $120 total) in order to get my $1000 in eBay bucks (counting all offers).

And I would do it again....LOL. Given the chance. Can't wait for April 1st to spend my "free money".

Mine is 8% online or 10% using the app. I did have something on my watch list I was able to pick up getting 10% back.

Nope. When ebucks first srarted, I got 20% and 30% ebucks offers.

I was referring to frequency. Used to be 1 to 2 offers a quarter. This quarter has been almost weekly, anywhere from 8-15% plus all the 20% off single use coupons to boot.

Picked up a $5 MS69 cap visitor center at close to melt (with the rebate). They peaked at $2500 about 7 years ago.

I was thinking the same thing. It’s was out of the norm for them to do it so frequently. Must be trying to scrape up cash before their quarter ends.

The whole Ebay bucks promo thing is a mystery. Give away 8% and that is Ebays gross profit. At 15 you are giving away money.

For the record though, they have always been aggressive at the end of each quarter.

Hey Mark, Yes!

April 20th, 38 puts. Earnings are out on the 17th. If they had to run another 10% Bucks today, after the 15% end of last week, sooner or later it will catch up. I may add more yet as we get closer.

Hey Mark, Yes!

April 20th, 38 puts. Earnings are out on the 17th. If they had to run another 10% Bucks today, after the 15% end of last week, sooner or later it will catch up. I may add more yet as we get closer.

Out of the money puts. Baller. $2.00+ a sizable move for a stock with a small ATR. What did you pay from them may I ask? PM me if it’s better. I had a complicated trade working which I just closed. I hate Ebay with a passion so I need to temper my emotions. I take it that the 38’s and 39’s have size.

I have two accounts. I bought $6000 in PMs last week at 15% but I only got the offer in one of the two accounts. [although since I'm maxed out in both, doesn't do me any good anyway.]
