Gold ring, three silvers, 4 buffalo nickels and more!
Got back out to silver beach today. Started with a silver Roosevelt in the dry sand. Most of these finds were in the dryer part sand but some wheats were in the mud. The lower areas which were previously bountiful with stuff were pretty quiet. So maybe the 17” coil has maxed out what it can find. Toward the end of the hunt got another low tone. Expected another nickel or piece of junk when I saw a glint of gold! By the time I got my phone out the hole had caved in a bit and I couldn’t get an in situ pic. Got a horrible video of it though which I may post. Hard to video with a phone in one hand, pin pointer in another and it stuck in the bottom of a muddy hole. But, turned out to be a nice 14k wedding band. Not old but a welcome edition to things! Ended with
4 buffalo nickels
1906 v nickel
1905 ihc
13 wheat cents
1944 merc
1958 Roosevelt
“Kissproof rouge” lid
Sterling silver band
Couple junk religious pendants
2013 Cuba cinco centavos
Still spitting stuff out at the beach but the silver was feeling pretty sparse today.
